CONDUCT 2015 - 2018
Conduct was an independent collective of DJ/producers I co-founded with Jack Sumarno (Javano).
Established in 2015 and ending in 2018 the collective was comprised of six artists; Sub Basics, Javano, Rustica, Gauze, Tobias Griffiths (NKA Denna) and myself (Henry Greenleaf).

The idea of the collective was to utilise a feature on Soundcloud where - if you didn't pay for a pro account - your uploads could only be downloaded 100 times before the link would expire.
Using this feature we launched the label with a series called "Three Free Singles". These singles were an extremely limited hot commodity - first come first served - which gave us a keen initial following. Our releases were jokingly captioned with "2nd Original 0.00rpm" as we were releasing digitally but planned to follow the "Three Free Singles" with three vinyl singles.
As each member met at Bath Spa University (where we studied Creative Music Technology together), the collective disbanded when we all graduated before the first physical release was made.
The last Conduct event was hosted in Po Na Na - a venue inside Bath's Roman tunnels (see video below).
While the collective ran we hosted a weekly radio show on Subtle FM, recording more than 30 shows - most of which can be found here.

The final "Three Free Singles" release saw Mancunian Gauze (Ed Jackson) and London native Sub Basics (Tom Wood) blend their respective style to create a uniquely personal industrial single.

Tobias Griffiths & Henry Greenleaf "GRMTCH / Seize":
The second of the "Three Free Singles" run - this time from Cornish Tobias Griffiths and London sprung myself (Henry Greenleaf).
As we were both creating Swamp 81-inspired music and both working under our actual names we thought it fitting to pair ourselves.

Javano & Rustica "Switch / Devil's Chemist":
Our debut release saw Javano and Rustica come together in their triumphant London style.
